Before Commencing

Greetings!

It's been many many months since my last post. Nonetheless, I feel there is cause for an update, perhaps too a forward looking post.

For a start, how did sem 8 (y4s2) go? Haha!

Here goes:
Fin4112H - A
Fin4112K - A-
Fsp4003 - A+
Gek1520 - B+
Sw2104 - B+ (SU-ed)

I sincerely thought I could get into dean's list after the SU, unfortunately it was not meant to be.

My final final cap after all the thingamagit SUs was 4.39, which is 0.01 shy of my sem 1 results. Could I have gotten first class? Definitely, if I put in more effort along the way (Of course, said with a certain amount of humility or lack thereof). Do I regret not getting first class? Nope. Not really. My journey has been rather comfortable, in the sense that I was never in real danger of dropping class. There must still be a considerable effort put in sem after sem to ensure you don't fall behind, but generally it is manageable.

What's next for this blog? I hope to still post (here and there). There is value for information handed down. Perhaps I will enlist the help of current undergrads to increase the spectrum of module reviews (or if you yourself would like to feature post here, we can take it offline). (Note: this is not a business opportunity, but intended instead to help others navigate this big U).

Right now I have updated some of the labels to include NUS's new method of coding the modules. I do not know whether the curriculum will change as a result, perhaps dear readers you can help help me out here!
