If you chance upon this blog, I do hope you would find useful information that will aid you in your decision making and I encourage you to continually strive to be a better person: Someone that matters.

To navigate to the module of choice, take a look at the side bar where I have listed all the module codes (including newer ones!).

  1. Hi, can i just ask you whether you used textbook for DSC2008 and whether the textbook is useful?

  2. Hello! I bought the textbook, and it came with stat tools software (which I find rather useful even post DSC). For reading purposes, I barely touched it, in fact come second half of the semester I don't think I read it at all. If you do have a copy for yourself, use it to clarify the first half topics that are unclear to you.
    Cheers!

    1. Hi there! Glad of you to drop by.
Unfortunately, I do not have any good material to pass on. This is because: Fin3118's lecturer (to my knowledge) has changed since the time of writing; Aside from the materials provided from the lecturer himself in Fin3119, I do not have anything extra (also, I took it almost two and a half years ago! I do not know if they are still relevant!); And for Fin4112k, the bulk of the course was done on excel, hence there are no real "reading materials" per se. The ones given by the lecturer are more than sufficient to boggle and perplex the mind.
That being said, if you have any questions about the module (assuming you have been enrolled in it), please do drop a comment and I will share to the best of my memory.
      Cheers!

    1. Hi Annebel (I hope I got your name right), it's been more than two years since I've taken that module! I have doubts as to whether they are still relevant. (The concepts are equally dated in my memory!) That being said I would be happy to give a comment if you have questions about the module.
      Cheers!
