Understanding the Universe

Greetings,

I decided to take UTU this sem 100% because I expected a star gazing session. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed =D.

Aside from that, the module was quite chill.

Mid term quiz, final quiz, a bunch of small assignments here and there. All in all quite manageable and fun. There is also an online ivle quiz that happens after every topic (?). I missed one or two quizzes entirely (purely forgot), though I do not think there will be major repercussions.

The full spectrum of topics is huge, it will be a really fun ride.

Both quizzes were mainly MCQ, with the mid terms having some short answer questions. Finals was pure mcq. The questions tend to be very fact based, meaning if you've read the notes and listened to the lectures, you'll probably remember most of them being talked about here and there. This also means if you have absolutely no idea, chances are you won't be able to guess the answer. Eg: How many moons does Jupiter have?  - Either you know it or you don't.

Prof did mention she would be changing some things following this sem. Something about subject code and changing requirements... can't remember the details. Do check back the course outline if you are intending to take the module.

I have much else on my mind to talk about... So have a blast, all the best for any remaining papers.

RRR
